Husínský kros

Husínský cross-country is a traditional spring running race in Tajanov near Klatovy, which was created as a replacement for the canceled Klatovská patnáctka. The race has been held since 2012 and is part of the prestigious Ešus league series. Men run three laps, women and girls two laps, with each lap approximately 3.6 km long and mostly on forest paths with a section on smooth asphalt. In recent years, the course has returned to the original longer variant around the Husín forest. The main referee is running legend Vlastík Zwiefelhofer.

Závod je součástí seriálu Ešus liga, který má 42. ročník v roce 2026 a zahrnuje 22 závodů. Muži běží 10,5 km (3 okruhy), ženy a muži nad 70 let 7 km (2 okruhy). Start je u volejbalových kurtů v Tajanově. Pořadatelem je Jiří Přibík (tel. 608279305). Závod je součástí prestižní série Ešus ligy, v minulosti se konal i virtuálně kvůli pandemii. Akce přitahuje širokou účast a má dlouhou tradici v regionu.
