Krosový běh Chudenickým Žďárem

Běh chudenickým Žďárem is a young cross-country race founded in 2016, held amid the picturesque autumn scenery of Žďár Hill above the village of Chudenice. The course is a challenging cross-country run with no paved sections, a gently rolling profile, and an appealing climb up the forest steps to Bolfánek. The start and finish are located in the grounds of the local sports club. The main race is 6.2 km long and offers runners both a challenge and beautiful natural scenery.

The race is part of Ešus liga, a traditional and prestigious series of off-track runs in the Klatovy District. In previous years, Ešus liga races have offered original prizes such as running caps, bottles of drinks, fairground cakes, and Šumava cheeses. The course is known for being exactly 6.2 km long—as long as you don't get lost. The course is approximately 6.2 km long; the race is open to all age categories, has no paved sections, and includes a climb to Bolfánek. The race takes place in June 2026; the exact date is June 20.
