Race description
The Běh na Hraničář is a traditional and prestigious hill race held in the picturesque surroundings of the forest theatre by the Úhlava River in Nýrsko. The 5 km route, with 380 metres of elevation gain, passes the ruins of Pajrek Castle and finishes at the summit of Hraničář, with a stunning view of Mount Ostrý. The race is part of the Czech Hill Running Cup and has been held again since 2020 after a three-year break. After the race, participants must make their own way back to the start.
