Race description
The Zlín Forest Hour Run is a unique running race in the Czech Republic, held in the forest above the Lesní čtvrť district of Zlín. The race has a long tradition: it was originally run on a cinder track, moved to the forest at Vršava in 1995, and since 2006 has taken place on a gently rolling one-kilometre loop. The run lasts 60 minutes, and competitors try to cover as much distance as possible. The race is organized by Jirka Prokop and his team and is known for its friendly, regional character.
