VUM – Valašské Ultramaraton – DEN1 – Zahřívání 🏃‍♂️

VUM – Valašský Ultra Marathon is a demanding three-day stage ultramarathon in the heart of Valašsko and the Beskydy Mountains. The race is for runners seeking a challenge and discomfort, with progressively tougher stages that test physical and mental endurance. Each day is longer and more demanding, emphasizing self-sufficiency and the ability to recover. The race is not about speed, but about finishing safely and managing fatigue and decisions along the course. The organizers emphasize respect for nature and provide basic facilities, accommodation, and refreshments.

The entry fee includes camping in your own tent at the race venue, with the option of accommodation at a school (limited capacity). Refreshments during the race include coffee, tea, and basic refreshments before each stage, followed by fruit, vegetables, meat products, and sweet snacks after the stage. One liter of water per runner is available on the course at approximately the halfway point of each stage. Electronic timing and online runner tracking are provided. If exhausted, runners can use the organizers’ transport from the course. Every runner who completes at least one stage receives a finisher medal, while the exclusive finisher T-shirt is reserved for those who complete all three stages.
