Zlatý maraton Emila Zátopka Ostrava

The Golden Emil Zátopek Marathon Ostrava is a prestigious running event held on a fast, certified course in Ostrava. The event offers a marathon, half marathon, 10 km race and mixed team race, and welcomes every runner, whether a beginner or an experienced athlete. The atmosphere is professional, with world-class elite runners and extensive facilities including refreshments, music and sports shopping. The course is one loop, with the start and finish at the famous Vítkovice Stadium, where Emil Zátopek set his records.

Race entry can also be purchased on-site in cash or by QR code during registration. The race pack includes an original Macron technical T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, refreshments during and after the race, a large expo, and free taping and physiotherapy care. The race takes place on a one-loop course, with partial traffic restrictions in effect during the event from 8:50 to 15:00. The event includes various categories, including relay races, and supports charitable activities. It is held with the support of the City of Ostrava and the Moravian-Silesian Region.
