Race description
Witzenmann Opavská míle is a prestigious one-mile running race (1609 meters) that continues the tradition of the Stanislav Mikeska memorial. The race is open to a wide range of participants including professionals, amateurs, children, families, corporate and school teams, disabled athletes, and wheelchair users. It takes place in Opava and is supported by the main partner Witzenmann Opava. The course record is held by Filip Sasínek with a time of 3:55 minutes from 2023. The race is held regularly and is one of the most significant running events in the Czech Republic.
