Sokolský běh republiky - Písek

The Sokol Republic Run in Písek is a traditional race held on October 28 in honour of the founding of Czechoslovakia. The race offers a 5.35 km course for adults through the picturesque Palacký Gardens, across the Stone Bridge and along the river. Shorter courses from 100 m to 1.5 km are available for children, running on paved and asphalt paths. At the finish, all participants receive a beautiful republic-shaped medal and a gift-filled race pack. The main race is limited to 150 runners. On-site registration is available if capacity has not been reached.

Race times are measured using professional timing equipment. The race pack contains a race number and gifts from the organisers and partners.
