Štěpánský běh Prachatice

The St. Stephen's Run in Prachatice is a traditional sporting event held for the forty-fourth time, open to the general public from children to veterans. The morning program begins with children's and youth categories, with the main 10 km race and the 5 km hobby race starting at 11:00 AM. The route runs along an asphalt road with an elevation gain of 176 meters on the main course and 68 meters on the hobby course. The race takes place in front of the Municipal Stadium in Prachatice and is part of the South Bohemian Running Cup 2025.

Runners have access to changing rooms and showers in the stadium stands, and refreshments (tea and bread) are available at the finish line. Start numbers and chips are issued during registration and are to be returned to the organizers after the race. Prizes include trophies, material prizes, and monetary rewards for breaking the course record. The first 100 registered and paid participants of the main races will receive gifts from sponsors. The race includes 5 km and 10 km courses, registration is available via maraton.cz, and showers, refreshments, and facilities for competitors are provided.
