Panevropský půlmaraton

The Pan-European Half Marathon is an international running race from Stadlern in Bavaria to Poběžovice. The course passes through scenic nature of the Bavarian-Czech border region, including the former 'Iron Curtain' and the low saddle of the Bohemian Forest near the source of the Radbuza River. The race is accompanied by a rich cultural program at the start and finish, with activities for children. The start is traditionally at 10:00 AM and the finish is at the Míru Square in Poběžovice. Organizers warmly invite athletes and spectators to support the runners.

Refreshment stations on the course at 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 km with water and isotonic drinks. After the race, hot food, drinks, fruit, muesli, and chocolate. Registration on race day possible on-site at the start (Stadlern) for 600 CZK in cash. Bus transportation to the start and back after the race. Winners announced and awards presented immediately after the race. Each participant receives a commemorative medal and a race-themed T-shirt. Buses depart from Poběžovice and Domažlice. The race takes place in August 2026. The course is mostly asphalt with varied terrain. Part of the Běžec Chodska series.
