Ludgeřovický kros

Ludgeřovice Cross-Country Race is a traditional running event held in the natural surroundings of the village of Ludgeřovice, attracting runners of all ages every year. The main course is 10 km long and follows varied terrain, including forest roads, field paths and routes past local landmarks. In addition to the main race, there are shorter 4 km runs, a 9 km Nordic walking event and children’s races by age category. The event is part of the Prajzsko-Opavská Running League and is subtitled the Veterans’ Run, paying tribute to heroes from both past and present.

A custom-designed metal finisher’s medal; a commemorative magnet for the first 200 participants to register in person; a copy of the book Ještě jeden maraton for the first 300 entrants; cash prizes for the main race winners; chip timing for children’s races too; awards presented down to fourth place in all races; the accompanying Ludgeřovice Veterans’ Day programme; personal race videos and photos; changing rooms, showers and convenient parking; children’s races with an awards ceremony and a raffle. Courses: 10 km, 9 km, 4 km and children’s races. Weather uncertain. Held in conjunction with Veterans’ Day.
