ČEZ Lipno Sport Festival

The ČEZ Lipno Sport Festival is a traditional sporting event in Lipno nad Vltavou, offering a wide range of races for all ages and sports enthusiasts. The festival includes running events such as the Lipno Half Marathon, the 10 km COOP RUN and a family run, as well as cycling races with 60 km and 20 km gravel and MTB routes. The event also features children’s races and evening runs along the scenic Čertovy proudy cycle path. Participants can enjoy the beautiful Šumava countryside and a varied programme of cultural activities.

The 400 m and 800 m children’s runs start at 9:00 and 9:20, respectively, by the lower cable-car station above the Stodola restaurant. The start and finish of the main running races are at the ČEZ Lipno Sport Festival grounds and by the lower cable-car station. Registration for the children’s races is also available on race day. Race packs can be collected in advance from 17 August at the festival’s Active Point. The race office opens at 7:30 on race day. The event includes cycling routes, running courses, a cultural programme, sporting activities and registration, likely via the website.
