5. Prunéřovský půlmaratón

The Prunéřov Half Marathon is a certified half marathon on an accurately measured out-and-back course, run over two laps with minimal elevation gain. The start and finish are at the beginning of the Prunéřov–Černovice cycle path. The race is suitable for a wide range of runners, including children, who have their own courses of varying lengths and start times. It is organized by Běžecký klub F - C Kadaň, z.s., and takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, starting at 10:00. Aid stations are located every five kilometres and at the finish.

Race check-in is from 9:00 at the start area. Children’s races start earlier: Older Pupils at 9:15, Preparatory Class at 9:20, and Younger Pupils at 9:45. Parking is limited at the start and finish area and requires CEZ authorization; otherwise, parking is available by Prunéřov railway station, about a 1 km walk from the start. The organizer offers a special 2,000 Kč prize for beating the times of 1:08:20 for men and 1:22:22 for women. For the 2026 edition, check-in is listed from 9:00 and the main race starts at 10:00.
