Kobeřický půlmaraton

The Kobeřice Half Marathon is a traditional athletic race organized by TJ Sokol Kobeřice, with a long-standing history dating back to 1996. The race is part of the Moravia and Silesia Championship in the half marathon and attracts runners from across the Czech Republic and abroad. The course offers opportunities for both experienced and recreational runners and is part of a series of public races organized by the athletics club in Kobeřice. The organizers emphasize support for youth and the development of running traditions in the region.

Závod je součástí série tří veřejných běhů pořádaných TJ Sokol Kobeřice, včetně Zimního běhu Kobeřicemi a Kobeřické dvacítky. Atletický oddíl se zaměřuje na mládež a má dlouhodobou tradici v regionu. V roce 1998 byl půlmaraton zařazen do mistrovství Moravy a Slezska, v roce 2005 a 2009 se zde konala mistrovství v půlmaratonu a veteránů. Závod je součástí Moravskoslezského běžeckého poháru a Prajzsko-opavské běžecké ligy, s historií a tradicí v regionu.
