Zruč May Run is a traditional race held every May in the picturesque setting of the château park and the Sázava River in Zruč nad Sázavou. The event offers races for all age groups, from the youngest children to adults, including the 10 km main race on a fast, ČAS-certified course. The program also includes children’s races, relays, and a 3 km fun run. The event supports the TJ Jiskra Zruč nad Sázavou athletics club and encourages sporting activity in the region, with proceeds donated to a good cause in the local community.
Highlights
- The 10 km main race is a fast, ČAS-certified course that runs around the château park and the Sázava River
- Four color-coded loops for children and young people, ranging from 150 m to 1,100 m, in the château park
- The 3 km fun run goes through the château park, along the cycle path, and across the town square, finishing by Barončina stezka
