Vrchlabský 1/2 Maraton

Vrchlabský City Half Marathon is the first edition of the half marathon held in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains at T. G. Masaryk Square in Vrchlabí. Participants will enjoy a sporting challenge on asphalt roads, field and forest paths, as well as a cultural program and a friendly atmosphere. In addition to the main half marathon, shorter routes of 2 km and 9 km are available, suitable for children, juniors, and families with children, which lead through the city and its side streets. The event combines running, experiences, and community and is co-financed by the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic.

The 2 km route starts at 13:00 with categories 7 - 9, 10 - 12, and 13 - 15 years. The half marathon (21.1 km) starts at 15:00 with categories 18 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, and 50+ years. Parking is available in the city center; some parking lots are paid, others free. The larger parking lot near the monastery is temporarily closed; it is recommended to use the parking lot at the cultural house, about a 10-minute walk from the square.
