VolšoHEC RUN

VolšoHEC RUN is a traditional charity relay race held in the beautiful surroundings of the Olšovec pond in the South Moravian Region. The race has two relay options: 4 × 5.5 km and 2 × 11 km, covering a total half-marathon distance of 21.1 km. The event supports children in need, with all entry fees and voluntary contributions for the original running shirts going directly to Život dětem, a public benefit organisation. The programme also includes free children’s races and a non-competitive scooter ride. The race is ideal for teams who want to combine sporting achievement with supporting a good cause.

An original running shirt with a custom name can be purchased for 500 Kč; orders must be placed by 31. 3. 2026. The time limit for completing the full relay is 3 hours. Relay handovers take place in the start and finish area. The non-competitive scooter ride starts at 13:13, with no time limit or timing. The children’s races are free and take place from 13:30 to 14:45, followed by the results announcement. The main race starts at 15:00 and consists of four laps, with a 3-hour time limit. Registration is available via an online form. The event also includes children’s races and a ceremonial awards presentation.
