Vinařský maraton

The Winegrowers Marathon is a traditional running race organized by the Báječné ženy v běhu association, held in Velké Bílovice in the South Moravian Region. The race offers a marathon course and a half-marathon route passing through picturesque vineyards and the villages of Čejkovice and Vrbice. The event also features a charity run called Vinařská míle, open to children and adults. The race has a friendly atmosphere and supports the running community as well as local charitable projects.

The race capacity is 800 runners. The registration fee applies also to relay participants, who must register under the same relay name. Changing rooms are available at the school premises, and a baggage storage is provided in a tent at the multifunctional playground. The organizer is not responsible for items left outside the official storage. Payment of the registration fee can be made on-site in cash or via QR code if capacity allows. The race takes place in October, with a capacity of approximately 800 runners. Registration is possible online or on-site. The race routes include various wine regions, including Vrbice, Hradištěk, and Čejkovice, with options to participate in different categories, including relay races and special categories for the visually impaired.
