Valašské kilo

Valašské Kilo is a challenging 100 km ultramarathon through the beautiful, hilly landscape of Valašsko, with at least 3,500 metres of elevation gain. The race is a challenge not only for experienced athletes, but also for those who want to push their limits and experience an off-road adventure. After the mass start at 22:00, runners plan their own route between checkpoints, within a 30-hour time limit. Race facilities are at ZŠ Žerotínova in Valašské Meziříčí, where a gym, showers and a dining hall are available. Valašské Kilo offers the freedom to navigate the terrain and is one of the best ultramarathons in Czechia.

The race has a 30-hour time limit. At the start, runners receive a card listing the checkpoints they must visit. Race facilities are open from approximately 16:00 on Friday until 12:00 on Sunday and include a gym, showers, a dining hall, drinking water and baggage storage. Each runner must provide their own map of the route. The race focuses on endurance walking and running, with an emphasis on resilience and the ability to tackle the challenging terrain of the Valašsko region.
