ŠumpeRUN

ŠumpeRUN is a popular city running race held in the historic center of Šumperk. The eighth edition of the race will offer routes for the general public including the main race over 10 km, a 3.33 km race, relay races for three-member teams, and children's races of various lengths. The race promotes a healthy lifestyle, community cohesion, and commemorates the cultural heritage of the city. For 2026, a rich accompanying program is prepared, including group warm-ups and musical entertainment on the course.

Registration begins on June 1, 2026. Children's races have free entry. A joint warm-up with professional instructors will take place before the start of children (10:30) and adults (14:00). There will be musical accompaniment on the course by a DJ or live band. The start and finish are at Svoboda Square near Hotel PERK and the Business Academy. The capacity of the main race is 350 runners, 100 runners for the 3 km race, 50 relay teams, and 100 children in each category. The race is aimed at the general public, offers various categories, and results are available online. The event is part of the local sports calendar and promotes an active lifestyle.
