Sokolský běh republiky - Nový Bydžov

The Sokol Republic Run in Nový Bydžov is a traditional race held on 28 October to celebrate the founding of Czechoslovakia. The race offers a 4.8 km course for adults, running from the town along country roads through the village of Humburky and crossing the Cidlina River via two bridges. Shorter 250 m and 420 m races for children take place at the Sportring complex. The race is held in open traffic, with marshals at intersections, and offers a race pack and a republic-shaped medal for all participants.
