Sokolský běh republiky - Louňovice pod Blaníkem

The Sokol Race of the Republic in Louňovice pod Blaníkem is a traditional event held on October 28th to celebrate the founding of Czechoslovakia. The main course measures 5.6 km and passes through the natural and historical beauty of Malý Blaník, including the highest point with the Chapel of Mary Magdalene. The race is part of the Běžec Podblanicka running series and offers a starter pack, a medal in the shape of the republic, and a raffle for participants of the main race. The start and finish are at the square in front of the castle in Louňovice pod Blaníkem. In addition to the main race, there are also children's courses of 0.4 km, 0.8 km, and 1.3 km.

All races are timed. After the race, there is a raffle for the main race participants. At the finish line, everyone receives a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic. Each participant picks up their starter pack at the race facilities. The main race is part of the Běžec Podblanicka running series. Supportive program and refreshments are provided, races are timed, free parking is available at the square, and proceeds support charitable projects.
