Sokolský běh republiky - Louňovice pod Blaníkem

The Sokol Republic Run in Louňovice pod Blaníkem is a traditional race held on October 28 to celebrate the founding of Czechoslovakia. The main course is 5.6 km long and passes the natural and historic sights of Malý Blaník, including its highest point, where the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene stands. The race is part of the Běžec Podblanicka running series and offers a race pack, a medal shaped like the republic, and a raffle for participants in the main race. The start and finish are in the square in front of the château in Louňovice pod Blaníkem. In addition to the main race, children’s courses of 0.4, 0.8, and 1.3 km are available.

All races are electronically timed. After the race, participants in the main race can enter a raffle. Everyone will receive a beautiful medal shaped like the republic at the finish. Each participant can collect their race pack at the race facilities. The main race is part of the Běžec Podblanicka running series. An accompanying program and refreshments are provided. The races are electronically timed, free parking is available in the square, and proceeds support charitable projects.
