Sokolský běh republiky - Dolní Újezd

The Sokol Republic Run in Dolní Újezd is a traditional race held on October 28 to celebrate the founding of Czechoslovakia. The main course is 8.9 km long and runs partly alongside the Desná stream, across fields and along the edge of the village, combining paved roads with surfaced forest and field paths. Children can choose a 1.4 km course on paved roads and through the housing estate. Facilities at the Sokol hall include a race pack, refreshments, changing rooms and parking. Everyone receives a beautiful medal shaped like the republic at the finish.
