Slapy Trail Maniacs

Slapy Trail Maniacs is a challenging trail race in the picturesque surroundings of the Slapy Reservoir in the Central Bohemian Region. It offers three courses of 61 km, 47 km, and 33 km, crossing rugged terrain with significant elevation gain. The race is suited to experienced runners looking to test their abilities in nature and earn points toward their UTMB Index. The race hub is in the village of Cholín; start times vary by course and take place on Saturday. The organizers also provide accommodation and refreshments during the race.

The 61 km race starts at 7:00 in Nečín, the 47 km race starts at 9:00 in Cholín, and the 33 km race starts at 12:00 by the Živohošť Bridge. The race cutoff is 23:00 in Cholín. Accommodation is available for 250 Kč per night in a bed, or on a sleeping mat in the common room. Registration changes are free until 12 October 2025; after that, a 100 Kč fee applies. The terrain includes trails, off-trail sections, rocky areas, and climbs. The race offers accommodation, set start times and cutoffs, and contributes to the UTMB Index.
