Slapy Trail Maniacs

Slapy Trail Maniacs is a challenging trail race set in the picturesque surroundings near Slapská Dam in the Central Bohemian Region. It offers three courses with distances of 61 km, 47 km, and 33 km, which lead through varied terrain with significant elevation changes. The race is suitable for experienced runners who want to test their abilities in nature and also earn points towards the UTMB index. The race center is located in the village of Cholín, with starts divided according to the courses, taking place on Saturday. Organizers also provide accommodation and refreshments during the race.

The 61 km race starts at 7:00 in Nečín, the 47 km race starts at 9:00 in Cholín, and the 33 km race starts at 12:00 near Živohošťský Bridge. The race cutoff time is 23:00 in Cholín. Accommodation is available for 250 CZK per night on a bed or on a mat in a communal room. Registration changes are possible free of charge until October 12, 2025, and afterward for a fee of 100 CZK. The terrain includes trails, unmarked paths, rocky areas, and ascents; the race offers accommodation options, start times, and limits; it also contributes to the UTMB index.
