Širokodolský kros

Širokodolský Cross-Country Run is a traditional off-road race held in the village of Široký Důl near Polička in the Pardubice Region. The event offers races for children and young people ranging from 60 metres to 4 km, as well as a 7 km main race with a mass start for men and women. The course runs along paved roads, forest trails and dirt tracks, with a climbing bonus on the first hill. Children can win prizes, while adults can receive cash prizes in their categories. The start and finish are by the municipal hall, creating a welcoming race atmosphere.

Children and young people start in successive age categories, with distances ranging from 60 m to 4 km. The 7 km main race has a mass start for men and women. Children receive prizes for the first three finishers in each category, while adults receive cash prizes for the first three in each category. The race starts by the municipal hall. The programme includes races for children and young people; the results for the 2026 edition list distances from 80 m to 7.8 km.
