Sherwood kros

Sherwood Cross is a running race held in the Poruba forest area of Ostrava-Poruba. The route runs mainly along unpaved forest paths. This is not a road race but takes place in natural, more challenging terrain, so suitable trail shoes are recommended. The event also includes children’s races on an asphalt loop near Porubská Myslivna, with children competing in different age categories. The main race is divided into categories by age and gender, and every participant who finishes receives an original finisher’s medal. Trophies and prizes are prepared for the winners.

The maximum number of participants is limited to 400. Check-in takes place on race day at Porubská Myslivna. The children’s races start at 10:00, with approximately 10-minute intervals between categories; the main race starts at 12:00. After the race, sweet treats are prepared for the children, and all participants receive original finisher’s medals.
