Půlmaraton údolím Moravské Sázavy

The Half Marathon through the Moravská Sázava Valley is a traditional running race held in the picturesque surroundings of Zábřeh na Moravě. The 21.0975 km course is certified according to IAAF rules and runs mostly over flat terrain, with a gentle climb between Nemile and Hněvkov. The race is part of the Olomouc Region Endurance Running Series and offers good facilities, including refreshment stations and a children’s race. The start is at the swimming complex in Zábřeh, which is also the finish venue. Participants receive a commemorative medal and refreshments at the finish.

Runners expecting to finish in 2:30–3:00 hours may start as early as 9:30. The race time limit is 3 hours. After the race, participants can enjoy a buffet with drinks (Welzl beer and draft lemonade) and pasta salad. A children’s race is held after the adults’ start. Lockers are available for 10 Kč. Parking is available by the swimming pool and in the surrounding area; please follow the instructions of the parking attendants. The course is free of restrictions and construction work. The race takes place on 24 May 2026, registration is open, and the event is suitable for both recreational and competitive runners, with various categories and team competitions.
