Race description
The Polanka Charity Run is a traditional charity event held in Polanka nad Odrou to support the neonatology department of Ostrava University Hospital. It offers races for all age groups, from children’s races of 400 and 800 metres to the main 10 km race. The event is also open to participants who wish to complete the route using Nordic walking. Proceeds from entry fees go towards helping premature babies, known as “Kulíšci.”

Children’s races start at 9:30. The 10 km and 2.7 km races start at 11:00 and 11:05, respectively. Parking is available at several locations in Polanka nad Odrou. Run T-shirts can be purchased online until 11 April 2026, or on race day while stocks last. The team competition is free, and the three fastest times from each team count. The event takes place at the Dělnický dům in Polanka nad Odrou. Proceeds go towards supporting neonatology.
