Race description
PoHodová Devítka is a traditional running race in Velká Bíteš, held in September after the local festivities. The main course is 9 km and is suitable for runners of all abilities; children can race shorter distances. The event offers a friendly atmosphere and is open to the general public, including children’s and youth categories. About one third of the route is on asphalt and two thirds on unpaved roads. The race takes place in open traffic, and each participant runs at their own risk.

Children start by category from 11:00, beginning with the youngest, followed by the younger and older pupils. The fun run starts immediately after the main race. Race bib numbers are entered into a raffle for a voucher for an extended PoHodová Devítka running weekend. Registration includes entry into the draw for a weekend running package. The race is part of the local festivities and offers various age categories and distances.
