Olympijský běh - Palkovice

The Olympic Run in Palkovice is a traditional regional race held in beautiful surroundings, with a mix of paved roads, forest paths, and trail terrain. The adult course is approximately 5,100 metres long and includes a hill, adding interest and challenge to the race. Children can take part in races over 200 m, 400 m, and 1,600 m, making it an event for the whole family. The event is also an opportunity to support the Czech Olympic Foundation and enjoy a sporting atmosphere in the community. The start and registration are behind the gymnasium in Palkovice; the main race starts at 18:00.

Registration is online only until 6 June; on-site registration is not available. Children may not run the adult course at this location. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or handbikes. Timing is chip-based. Toilets, showers, a changing room, and a bag drop are available. Parking details will be announced on Facebook or by email. The race capacity is 300 adults and 400 children. The programme begins with race-pack collection from 15:45, and children’s races start from 16:45. The races include various course distances, registration is online, the event starts at 18:00, proceeds support the Czech Olympic Committee, and toilets, showers, and parking are available.
