Olympijský běh - Karviná

The Olympic Run in Karviná is a traditional race starting in the historic T. G. Masaryk Square in Karviná-Fryštát. The route passes the Larisch family chateau and through the chateau park, then heads to the city’s landmark, the Darkov Bridge, and returns through the Spa Park to the finish. The race is open to adults and children up to 15 years old, with shorter courses for children. The event supports the Czech Olympic Foundation and offers a pleasant atmosphere with an accompanying program. Athletes with disabilities can also participate using a wheelchair handbike.

Registration is online only until June 7; registration on site will not be available. The start of the main race will be announced on Czech Radio. Athletes with disabilities can participate using a wheelchair handbike. Toilets and parking are available at the Karviná-Fryštát Summer Cinema (300 m from the start). The accompanying program includes demonstrations by Juventus Karviná hobby clubs. Races include the main 5 km race and children’s races. Registration is online only until June 6, 2026.
