Olympijský běh - Karviná

The Olympic Run in Karviná is a traditional race starting at the historic T. G. Masaryk Square in Karviná Fryštát. The route passes around the Larisch family castle and castle park, then to the city landmark Darkov Bridge and back through the Spa Park to the finish line. The race is open to adults and children up to 15 years old, with shorter distances for children's races. The event supports the Czech Olympic Foundation and offers a pleasant atmosphere with an accompanying program and the possibility for disabled athletes in wheelchairs (handbikes) to participate.

Registrations are only available online until June 7; on-site registration will not be possible. The main race will be started via the Czech Radio broadcast. Participation of disabled athletes in wheelchairs (handbikes) is possible. Toilets and parking are available at the Summer Cinema Karviná Fryštát (300 meters from the start). The accompanying program includes demonstrations of interest groups from Juventus Karviná. The races include the main 5 km race and children's runs, with registration only online until June 6, 2026. The start is at Fryštát Square. The event features an accompanying program, parking in the castle park, and chip timing measurement is not available.
