Nymburský půlmaraton a desítka

The Nymburk Half Marathon and 10K is a traditional running race held in the picturesque town of Nymburk, offering a pleasant course with no significant elevation gain. The race runs through the town park, along the Elbe cycle path and over two bridges, with the finish and facilities beneath the historic town walls. A shorter 10K on a flat route is available for less experienced runners. The event is suitable for recreational runners as well as those training for longer races, and offers good facilities and refreshments both on the course and at the finish.

Refreshments are provided at the start, finish and every 5 km along the course (water, isotonic drinks, fruit and chocolate). At the finish, runners can choose a hearty lunch or a baguette. Race numbers bearing runners’ names are mailed for payments made by 12 April 2026. Facilities are available in the park beneath the town walls, including a changing room, storage for belongings and bicycles, portable toilets and seating. Timing is electronic with a chip; results are available online, and runners receive an SMS with their finishing time. The time limit for the half marathon is 2 hours. Races take place in the park beneath the town walls. Registration opens on 19 May 2025. Race distances are 21.1 km and 10 km. Refreshments are available on the course and after the race. Facilities in the park include changing rooms, storage, toilets and drinking water.
