Race description
The Mělník Wine Run is a traditional running race in Mělník, offering courses of 10 km and 21 km. The race takes place on a single loop with beautiful views of the castle and vineyards, with the route passing through historical and natural attractions around the town. After finishing, participants can enjoy a tasting of local wines, a commemorative glass, a free lunch, and a rich raffle. The race is suitable for the general public, including children, who have their own free races. The organizer is the association Run the World, which promotes running as a community and friendly activity.

Registration and changes on race day are not possible. Bib pickup is only available until 9:30. After finishing, each participant receives a commemorative glass and can participate in a wine tasting. Lunch is free for all runners, including a vegetarian option. After the winners are announced, a rich raffle will take place. The race capacity is 500 runners for both the 10 km and 21 km courses. Children's races are free. The registration fee varies depending on the registration date. The event supports charitable causes to help people with cystic fibrosis. The race is limited to 500 runners.
