Malá křivoklátská

Malá křivoklátská is a traditional forest run with a long history dating back to 1973. It takes place in the picturesque valley of the Rakovnický Stream below Křivoklát Castle. The main race is 6,000 metres long and consists of two laps over gently undulating terrain, combining forest trails, paved roads and a ford across the stream. Children can take part in a 600-metre schoolchildren’s race on a flat course at the Kolečko sports ground. Race facilities are at the Kolečko sports ground, which belongs to Sokol Křivoklát, the event organiser.

Race facilities and the start/finish are at the Kolečko sports ground. The main race has a mass start, and the course crosses footbridges and a ford over the Rakovnický Stream. The schoolchildren’s race is a 600 m loop at Kolečko, run over 1–3 laps depending on age. The course is measurable and comparable with previous editions dating back to 1975. The course is set in a natural environment; registration and further information are probably available on the website. The course includes forest and urban sections, and the main race consists of two 3,000 m laps.
