Kačina Run

Kačina Run is a running race held in the beautiful grounds of Kačina Chateau and its expansive park. It is part of the BĚHEJ ZÁMKY STŘEDNÍ ČECHY series. The race offers courses of up to 800 metres for children and 5 km and 10 km courses for adults, mainly on crushed-stone and forest paths. The event is suitable for everyone who loves exercise and nature, and offers a welcoming atmosphere with refreshments along the course and at the finish. The start and event facilities are located at the rear of Kačina Chateau, where registration and the awards ceremony also take place.

Registration opens at 9:00 for the children’s races and at 12:30 for the adults’ races, at the rear of the Kačina Chateau grounds. Children receive a participation medal as soon as they finish. Parents may run with children in the 2–3 and 4–5 age categories. The race takes place in all weather; participants must observe safety guidelines and fair play rules. A disposable race bib with safety pins must be attached to the chest. Parking is available as shown on the parking map; please do not park on the road shoulders.
