Jaroměřský kros

Jaroměř Cross-Country is a cross-country race held in the unique setting of the fortress and its underground passages in Jaroměř-Josefov. The race takes place on April 12, 2026, and features a varied course profile with rolling terrain, hills, and unobstructed grassy sections. The start is beneath the fortress walls, lending the race the magical atmosphere of a Theresian fortress. Runners of all ages, from children to seniors, take part. The race is organized under athletics rules and uses chip timing.

Registration and chip pickup begin at 9:00; registration closes 30 minutes before each category’s start. The timing chip is attached to the shoe, and the race number is worn on the chest. Changing facilities are available in tents by the race office. Refreshments and medical services provided by the Czech Red Cross in Jaroměř are available. Parking is available in the car park or along the road. Accommodation can be arranged through TJ Sokol Jaroměř or found among the options in Jaroměř and the surrounding area.
