Horský půlmaraton Sušice

The Sušice Mountain Half Marathon is a challenging and beautiful running race in the heart of Šumava, offering a unique experience with stunning views from three peaks and of iconic places such as Žižkův vrch, Kalich, Sedlo, Kalovy and Pustý Hrádek. The race base is traditionally on Santos Island by the Otava River, where runners can enjoy quality services, marked courses and a family-friendly atmosphere. The organizers focus on providing excellent conditions and an unforgettable day filled with sport and nature. The race also has a strong tradition and is organized in memory of Matěj Molcar, an enthusiastic athlete.

The race base on Santos Island offers a restaurant, parking, a children's playground, a swimming pool, a pump track and a skatepark. Relay teams are provided with transport to the start and a shuttle after the race. The children's race has several age categories, with different loop lengths. Cancellation insurance for the entry fee can be arranged through Kooperativa. The race offers several distances, including a half marathon and 10.5 km, with challenging terrain and a family-friendly atmosphere in the Sušice and Šumava area.
