Havlíčkova pětka

Havlíčkova pětka is a running race of approximately 5.2 km, held mostly on cycle paths and sidewalks along the banks of the Sázava River in Havlíčkův Brod. It is suitable for those who do not have a relay team or find a half marathon too challenging. The race starts in Havlíčkovo Square, and part of the entry fee goes toward supporting sports equipment for young people. The race is part of the Běžec Vysočiny running series and offers refreshments at both the start and finish.

Refreshments are available at the start and finish. Race numbers for registrations paid by September 1, 2026, include the runner’s name. The race offers a medal, refreshments on the course and after the race, facilities including a changing room and storage for belongings and bikes, portable toilets, drinking water, music, and professional electronic chip timing with online results. Fifteen percent of each entry fee goes toward supporting secondary schools and youth sports programs in the town. The route includes asphalt paths, trails, and paving; registration is available online or on site. The race supports youth sports activities and offers various additional events as part of the running day.
