Dačického 12

Dačického 12 is a traditional cross-country running race in Kutná Hora, now being held for the 18th time. The race offers 12 km and 6.7 km courses, as well as shorter children’s races. The route runs through the scenic Vrchlice and Bylanka valleys, passing historic landmarks such as St. Barbara’s Church and the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady and St. John the Baptist in Sedlec. The race is suitable for the general public and offers an enjoyable sporting experience in the beautiful surroundings of Kutná Hora.

Children’s races are divided into categories by year of birth, with course lengths ranging from 300 m to 1,000 m. The start is at the Jesuit College/GASK on Barborská Street. The route includes sections along Pod Hrádkem and Na Podskalí streets, past the Šafrán guesthouse and the Great Pond. After the race, custom badges can be ordered for clubs or events. The event includes a main 12 km course, a 6 km course, children’s races in four categories, online registration, and a start and finish at GASK Kutná Hora. The event also features music and supports the Světluška charity collection.
