Cross Coutry Race – Hruboskalský půlmaraton

The Hruboskalský Half Marathon is a traditional running race held on April 25, 2026, in the picturesque surroundings of Český ráj, at Sedmihorky campsite. The race offers two routes: a half marathon of approximately 21.8 km with 500 m of elevation gain and a shorter 12.5 km course with 300 m of elevation gain. The route follows paved and unpaved roads, paths and hiking trails, including stairs and rocky sections, and is suitable for nature lovers and those who enjoy more challenging terrain. The race is part of the Cross Country Race series and is known for its atmosphere and beautiful views in the Český ráj Protected Landscape Area.

Race bibs are colour-coded (red, green and yellow for children). The route is marked with ribbons and signs on trees, and each kilometre of the half-marathon course is marked approximately. In wet weather, the route may be muddy; shoes with trail treads are recommended. Race capacity is limited and is usually reached well in advance. After registering, participants receive payment instructions by email. The race is part of a running series in 2026, with registration available through the official website. The course was modified due to road reconstruction, and race capacity filled up early. Runners can expect a challenging and scenic race in the natural surroundings of Český ráj.
