Race description
Chotucká šlapka is a traditional running race in Křinec. It began in 2012 as a duathlon and has been held as a trail-only run since 2020. The race offers two courses: the main 11 km course and a shorter 5.5 km course, both running mostly along trails with a small amount of asphalt. The start and finish are in the castle park, and the route passes through scenic countryside with several hills and aid stations. The race is open to the general public, with capacity limited to 100 runners. Participants receive personalized bibs, refreshments, and wooden medals.

Children’s races begin at 11:00, with staggered starts from 12:00. The race takes place on 7 June 2026, also offers children’s races, and is part of the Postřižinská Running League.
