Běh s Klokanem

Běh s Klokanem is a traditional cross-country race in Olomouc-Hejčín, held every year in late September. The race is open to children and young people as well as adult athletes, and is part of the Olomouc Region Children’s and Youth Running Cup and the Olomouc Region Grand Prix for Distance Runners. Men run 9 km and women 7 km, while shorter courses are available for children according to age group. The event is both sporting and social, with activities for children and parents, including games, scooter rides, puzzles and a raffle. Check-in takes place at Hospoda U Travise by Mlýnský potok.

The accompanying programme includes scooter rides, sack races, puzzles, horse rides, a kangaroo-themed photo booth, an educational trail about kangaroos, a performance by the band 3+1 and a raffle with valuable prizes.
