Race description

The Run Against Violence is a traditional charity run held at Obora Hvězda in Prague 6, supporting the Stop Violence program and clients of long-term therapies focused on managing anger and aggression. This run brings together runners of all ages who want to express support and hope for those trying to change their behavior. The course is 5 km long and suitable for everyone who wants to support a good cause and enjoy outdoor activity. The organizer is Diakonie ČCE, a major provider of social services in the Czech Republic.

Additional information

Start packages can be picked up on race day at the registration tent, labeled according to gender and T-shirt size. There is a baggage storage, changing rooms, refreshments during and after the race, and free massages before and after the run. Starting numbers and chips are non-transferable and must be visibly placed on the chest. The race is charitable and supports the Stop Violence program. The program includes children's races, the main 5 km race, accompanying activities in the children's corner, relaxation techniques, and massages. The event promotes therapeutic programs and violence prevention.
