Běh pro úsměv – Pelhřimovský půlmaraton

Běh pro úsměv is a sporting event for the whole family, held at Masaryk Square in Pelhřimov. This Pelhřimov half marathon is suitable for both sporty and non-sporty families, active seniors, and children from 1 year old. You don’t have to run the race—you can walk it. Half of the entry fees go to the Julinka Endowment Fund, which works to combat childhood obesity. The children’s and parents’ races take place one after the other, and while waiting for their parents, children can enjoy activities such as face painting, a bouncy castle, riding scooters, or learning first aid.

Race bib collection and race-day registration open at 8:30. Bibs must be collected at least 20 minutes before the start. Runners in the 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon are timed using disposable chips attached to their race bibs. Registration by 30 April 2026 includes a medal, a race bib with the runner’s name, and Rajec water. Parents accompanying children run for free. A bag drop is available for runners. The event is hosted by Ondřej Havlík (En.dru) and Petr Cerha (Nasty). The races are suitable for all age groups, including children and seniors, with activities for children and a charitable purpose.
