Běh okolo Špilberku

The Run Around Špilberk is a traditional running race in Brno, offering an interesting loop around Špilberk Castle. The race is open to men, women, and children of all ages and takes place in the pleasant early evening. Men run five 1.3 km laps, women run three laps, and the lap distance for children is adjusted to their age. Refreshments and baggage storage are available after the race. The entry fee is an affordable 150 Kč, and registration takes place at the venue before the race.

Registration opens at 17:15 at the race venue. The children’s race starts at 17:45, and the main men’s and women’s races start at 18:00. Water and a baggage-storage tent are available after the finish. The venue can be reached by car (limited parking), trolleybus lines 25 and 26 (Tvrdého stop), and tram lines 5, 6, and 12 (Šilingrovo nám. stop). Competitors take part at their own risk. The race offers refreshments after the event, parking by the castle, and different routes for all age groups.
