Běh o Ludgerův meč

The Run for Ludger’s Sword is the third edition of a running race organized by Běžecký klub Náchod in cooperation with the municipality of Hořičky. The race is part of the Primátor CUP running series and the Velká cena východních Čech cup. The routes run around Hořičky, offering beautiful views of the Kladské pomezí, across gently rolling terrain with gravel and forest paths and very little asphalt. Courses are available for children, as well as an 8 km main race and a 4 km FIT course. The start and race check-in take place at the grounds by the football pitch in Hořičky.

Race check-in opens at 8:00 at the grounds by the football pitch in Hořičky. Check-in closes 30 minutes before each children’s category starts and at 10:00 for adults. Children’s races start between 9:00 and 9:35, according to age category. The main race and FIT course start at 10:30. The entry fee includes chip timing; homemade cakes, pastries, juice and tea are served at the finish. Parking is available by the football pitch; please follow the organizers’ instructions. Prizes are awarded to the fastest children, with medals and non-cash prizes in the adult categories. Cash prizes go to the first three men and women overall in the main race (600 Kč, 400 Kč, 200 Kč).
