Race description
The Run Across the Republic is a unique relay event that brings runners from different parts of the Czech Republic together at a shared finish in Čihošť, the geographical centre of the country. It is not a race, but a group run at a conversational pace, with pacers on each section. Runners can choose any number of sections and join the running “trains” from Liberec, Pohoří na Šumavě, Prostějov and Rokycany. The route crosses varied terrain—hills, flat stretches, forests and towns—and offers the chance to discover new places and meet like-minded people.
Highlights
- The route leads from different parts of the Czech Republic to its geographical centre in Čihošť
- 82 carefully designed sections of varying lengths and elevation gain
- Pace suited to recreational runners, with pacers on every section
