Běh napříč republikou

Running across the country is a unique relay event held for the fifth time. Participants run together from different parts of the Czech Republic to its geographical center in Číhošť, with the pace adjusted for hobby runners and run at a conversational speed. The routes are divided into segments with guides who ensure the correct pace and navigation. The event is not a race but a shared experience that allows discovering new places and meeting other runners.

Participants run together at a conversational pace with guides on each segment. The pace is adjusted for hobby runners, approximately 6 min/km on flat sections, slower on hills. On selected segments, the pace is slowed to 7 min/km to allow casual runners to join. Refreshments, support vehicles, and transportation options are provided at relay points, subject to capacity. The race is not marked; participants run according to the timetable and with guides. The finish is collective in Číhošť on Sunday at 17:00. Multiple start locations, approximately 867 km total, group runs with guides, no official timing, open participation, various terrains from city streets to trails, relay format with a predetermined schedule.
