Běh metropole Praha 1

Běh Metropole is a series of public running races held in different districts of Prague. It aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and a sense of belonging to one’s district. The race is open to all age groups, from children to seniors, as well as participants with disabilities, who represent their district. Each start earns points in the competition to find Prague’s most sports-oriented district. The atmosphere is friendly and motivating, with original medals and gifts for participants.

Each participant represents the district where they have permanent residence and contributes to the districts’ points tally. The project emphasises competition between Prague’s districts to be named the most sports-oriented. Original medals and running magnets for bib numbers are prepared for participants as keepsakes. The races offer different course distances and are part of a series, with medals and updates about the event location; registration is available online and on site.
