Race description
The Běh lužanskými hvozdy is a traditional running race held in the recreational area of the municipality of Lužany near Jičín, specifically at the campsite by Marešák Pond. The 50th anniversary edition will take place on 27 June 2026 and offers various categories and race distances suitable for a wide range of runners, including children. The race is supported by the Hradec Králové Region and organized by the Municipality of Lužany, ELMAT Kůtek s.r.o., and TJ Sokol Lužany. Participants can expect medals, prizes in kind, and cash awards for the top runners in each category.
